May Photos and Awards

| Hope Harbor, a home for battered and abused women, recently held an open
house to say thank you to the many organizations who have assisted with
renovations to the home. Standing is Hope Harbor VP Frank Smith and sitting
is Hope Harbor President Juanita Adams in front of computer stations donated
through an Impact Grant from the Elks National Foundation to provide a learning
center for children of the residents. |

At the regular meeting on May 11th, ENF Chairman Don
Walker was presented a plaque from the Elks National Foundation in recognition
for giving a total of $2000. in donations to the ENF. Presenting the plaque
are District ENF Chairman Dick Wilson, ER Teddy Acton, and ENF Committeeman
Bill Wilson.

elected to Life Membership. Pictured are John OBrien (001) and Harold
Riebesehl (002) receiving their Life Member card and pin from Exalted
Ruler Teddy Acton. Also elected but not present was William Wollert.

In celebration of Elks National Youth Week, the Calabash
Elks took 18 special needs children to see the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.
