"Ladies Morning Social"

The October Convention is coming up quickly and several ladies expressed interest in donating a gift basket or assisting with or being on the committee to help make the ladies morning social a success in the fall. If interested please contact Carol Hoover phone 336-289-4285 email hooverc@aetna.com

We are planning another trip to the "Dino Variety Show" on Thursday, November 11th, at the "2001 Club" located in Myrtle Beach by Restaurant Row. This will strictly be an "Elks Only" night. The show will cost $20.00 instead of $30.00 and there will be a buffet at the Elks Lodge before we leave for the show at a cost of $10.00 per person if you choose to do so. If you are interested, please sign up at the Elks Bar starting on October 10th.

LEAVE ELKS AT 7:30 AM Thursday Sept 16

ARRIVE APPROX. 11:30 FOR :
Lunch at Officers Club MCAS $7.50 plus tip
After lunch, Tour of Base, incl. CFR, dog training, Chemical training, CBRN, Air Squadron and Tarmac
After tour, return to Inn in Beautiful downtown Beaufort SC. Check in and dinner on your own.

Day 2: Parris Island Dual Graduation of Men and Women
Breakfast at Inn
Leave for PI at 8 am and arrive for Graduation
Graduation 0900 till 1000
1010 to 1140 : Museum tour
1150 to 1250 : Lunch at Mess Hall $3.50
1300 to 1400: ISMT brief/practice
1400 to 1445 : Windshield tour ( stop and observe OBS training)
1500 Depart for home.
