Elks National Foundation
As we are coming to a close of this ELK year this month, let us remember to make an annual contribution to the Elks National Foundation. Our lodge has always been a front runner for lodges of our size. If you have not received a reminder from the national office you may not have made a pledge for an annual contribution. Annual giving is the backbone of the Foundation. Pick up a donor form at the bar or go on line at our Lodges home page or www.elks.org/donate Elks Care Elks Share. Last year the state and local lodges in North Carolina received back from the ENF one dollar and ninety eight cents for every dollar donated. That's not a bad return on investment. Our lodge received the prestegious Impact Grant of 10 thousand Dollars from the ENF to remodel the Kitchen at Hope Harbor a battered persons shelter. Don Walker PER ENF Chairman |

At the regular meeting on December 8th ENF Chairman
Don Walker presented Michael Casper Jr. with a plaque for attaining
$1000. in donations to the Elks National Foundation. Mike was the
winner of the ENF raffle in which he won $1000. and $1000. was donated
to the ENF in his name

Calabash Elkls had Four members that have the Honorary
Founders level , which is that they have contributed at least $1000
each to the ENF and their names will appear on the Honorary Founders
plaque in the Lodge.
